I keep getting the error, "Something Went Wrong." What do I do?
Don’t worry! We have a couple of solutions for you to try.
Internet Connection
This error can occur if you are not connected to a stable WiFi or Data network. We recommend disconnecting and reconnecting to your internet network and see if it resolves the issue.
*Please note that downloading over data is turned off by default. If you would like to download over a data network, please go to the Parent Icon (top-left) > Settings > Turn off Download over WiFi only, and you're all set!
Clear Cache/Data
This error can happen if data was improperly stored on the device during the downloador update of the app from the App Store. To fix this, we recommend clearing the cache and data of the app, and then uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This is different from simply uninstalling and will wipe all previous files, allowing for a fresh install that should fix the problem.
We’ve included steps on how to do this on all major platforms below.
Please do not follow the steps below for our MathTango app as this can remove your in-game progress. If you are having trouble with MathTango, please reach out to our support team directly through the Parent Menu in the app, or email us at support@playpiknik.com.
Apple
- Open your Settings App.
- Select General.
- Select your Storage.
- Select your Sago Mini App.
- Tap Delete App.
- Go to the App Store and re-download your game.
- You're all set!
Google Play or Amazon
- Open your Settings App.
- Tap Apps & Notifications.
- Tap See All Apps > App Name (e.g. Sago Mini World) > Storage.
- Tap Clear Storage and Clear Cache. If you don't see Clear Storage, tap Clear Data.
- Uninstall and reinstall your app.
- You're all set!
